Pitch Meeting: Biodiversity

Please prepare your pitches ahead of time. What makes a successful pitch? A clear voice, new information, and a sense of urgency. The perfect pitch has all three.Whether you're pitching Sentient Media or getting feedback on a pitch for another publication, all ideas are welcome. However, pitches for Sentient Media should have a clear animal angle. For example, stories about sustainability or the environment that do not involve animals might be straying too far from the path. We believe that in a world where approximately 3 billion animals are killed for human consumption every day, it is best to specifically articulate the ways in which animals, and/or the people working to advance their cause, are involved.If you want to submit a pitch before the meeting, please follow these instructions and a member of our editorial team will be in touch shortly.
