About this event
Please join us for our next event in this year's Talking Animals, Law & Philosophy series, organised by the Cambridge Centre for Animal Rights Law. Paula Casal (Professor at ICREA, and Research Professor, Department of Law, University of Pompeu Fabra) and Peter Singer (Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics, University Center for Human Values, Princeton University) will join us to launch their new book "The Rights of Apes" (Trotta 2022). Carolina Leiva Ilabaca (University of Chile/Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and former Visiting Researcher at the Cambridge Centre for Animal Rights Law) will provide comments on the book. The event will take place on 23 November 2022, 5.00-6.00 pm (UK time) on Zoom. This event is open to all and a recording will be made available on our website afterwards.
