About this event
Tune in to our livestream to hear from people in the NY metro area who are making a difference with plants! Hosted by Jim Spellos, PPMNY Technology & Events Specialist, you’ll meet people creating healthy waves of change in the movement. From community organizers to chefs, it’s a chance to hear lessons they’ve learned and take away inspiration for your journey to better health.
A chef who made her way to whole plant foods after 23 years as a vegetarian, our change maker for this month is beloved PPMNY Culinary Educator, Carole Levy. Carole brings her creativity and passion for healthy cooking together to inspire others in the kitchen. Beyond creating nutrient-dense recipes free of salt, sugar, and oil, she teaches meal planning and kitchen organization skills to make plant-based living work for everyone. She’s earned a certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell, and is a PCRM-certified Food for Life instructor. Carole is the founder of The Veggie Vanguard and offers monthly virtual culinary demonstrations for PPMNY (lucky us!).
Event access is by donation or free to anyone unable to contribute. Choose the option that fits you best and join us!
