About this event
It's time for the 2nd Annual Piggy Art Show/Animal Love Day!
Please mark your calendars for October 9th! The Art Show will have SNART or Snout Art on display, and will include a demo of the Doolittle Farm Sanctuary Collective creating. This project, which started as a way to find enrichment activities for these smart, funny, sentient, and mischievous darlings is a passion of mine, and now many people have also become passionate about SNART, as collectors or followers of their work! The artists' work will be for sale too and any proceeds always go to the care of our animals. Please come by, see the artwork and meet the artists. The Collective is also making greeting cards these days, and welcomes commissions too!
If you'd like a preview, or would like an art piece put aside, check out their gallery here: https://doolittlefarmsanct.wixsite.com/pigart
The artists will be painting around 12:30, if you'd like to come check it out.
Also, Longmont musician MongoTerry has generously offered to play acoustic guitar during the show!
AND, Keith Hughes will be doing a free plant-based cooking class-- focused on making one easy and delicious meal! In this class you will learn to make a simple plant-based cheese and then a savory pie with leeks and artichoke hearts with the cheese. If you’d like to come to the cooking class, please register below. Space is limited.

PLUS!!!! Susan's Samosas @susansamosas will be here selling her plant-based deliciousness, so come hungry! https://susansamosas.com/
And, of course, there will be some animal shmoozing time as well.
Please respect the following rules when visiting us:
Our priority is to make sure everyone stays safe during the visit. Please don't feed the animals. Some (I'm looking at you goats and sheep) can get a little pushy around food, and a little pushy in general. Please be alert around them. Many of them are friendly, some are moody, but it's their home, so if they aren't in the mood to hang out, please respect that.
Please leave your companion animals at home
.
Let us know if you have any questions and we're looking forward to seeing you on October 9th!
