We had such a great time last month that we're doing it again! Join us for a picnic potluck at this small park in the Highlands neighborhood at 33rd Ave & Wolff Street. The park features large trees, a playground and a public restroom. We will try for the main picnic area at 33rd and Wolff, but if it is already occupied, look for us in the Northwest corner of the park at 33rd and Yates Street. We will have an 8x8 festival tent that we can shelter under in case of rain.
For those who are new to veganism, welcome! Come get to know others in the group and sample some delicious vegan picnic fare!
WHAT TO BRING:
• A vegan dish (All vegan please: no meat, bacon, eggs, poultry, fish, dairy or honey) that serves 8 with a recipe card or list of ingredients. If you do not know what to bring, please contact Denver Vegans leadership.
• Your own utensils and reusable place setting
• A lawn chair (in case we aren't able to secure enough picnic tables).
We'll gather at 5:30, and eat at 6:00. Hope to see you there!
