About this event
Farm Transition Academy: How to reach out to farmers and talk to them about farm transitions
About this event
We are the Farm Transition Academy, a small team passionate about helping farmers transition away from animal farming toward much kinder and more sustainable animal-free food systems. We have started a series of workshops on the highly impactful topic of farmer & industry member outreach & transitions. This is our second workshop and we are surely planning for many more to come :)
This workshop will be structured in the following way:
\- Tati will introduce the workshop series and explain what we mean by farm transitions.
\- Meira will speak about how she engages with farmers via social media.
\- Edith will be sharing her story of helping small-town farmer Mike Lanigan save the animals on his farm, and turn his ranch into an animal rescue + education centre.
\- Q&A: the speakers are ready for your questions :)
