Charlottesville, VA : Help end cruel cages for hens!

About this event Battery cages are one of the cruelest inventions ever inflicted upon animals. Ending the battery cage means ending the acute suffering of millions of animals. Together, we are calling out these corporations who use battery cages on their greed, their backwardness, and their broken promises. Join us at Botanical Plant-Based Fare Sunday, June 25th from noon-2 p.m. for an action meetup where we will socialize, eat yummy vegan snacks, talk about animal rights and write messages to decision makers at these corporations. We encourage you to bring your laptop or mobile device so you can send emails and other digital actions. However this is not required! We will have letter and postcard writing supplies for those of you who would prefer to stay off your devices.
