About this event
Join Plant Powered Metro New York for an evening of delicious food and community at Cafe Massawa, an East African eatery located in West Harlem and a new participant in our Plant Powered Plates initiative. Eritrean and Ethiopian cuisine is known for its richly spiced stews and vibrant vegetable dishes, traditionally enjoyed with injera, a soft, tangy flatbread made of whole-grain teff and barley flour.
Guests will enjoy a three-course, whole food, plant-based meal prepared exclusively for our group.
The fixed price of $44 includes your meal, drink, and gratuity. Gluten-free injera options are available. All dishes are prepared with minimal oil and are low in added salt and sugar.
All reservations are requested by 12:00 PM on Monday, October 5. After this time, limited space may be available, and we may not be able to honor refund requests.
Hosted by Durene Ngochan Tezock and Elaine Perlman, PPMNY Volunteers
