Millions of hens remain confined in small wire cages because Kroger failed to honor its commitment to transition to cage-free eggs. Unable to turn around or fully spread their wings, these animals continue to endure immense suffering. As public pressure on Kroger grows, the company’s shared board member, Amanda Sourry, has also linked Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to this animal welfare controversy.
